Description

This ignition adjusts to the engine speed to consistently provide high energy. This helps prevent misfires and increase performance. Between 3,000 and 5,000 RPM, it delivers an average of 4 times more energy, and the spark plugs receive 2 times more voltage than conventional contact breaker points. Furthermore, it compensates for electronic delays by adjusting the ignition timing. The synchronization of current and ignition timing reduces heat buildup.

This module does not include overload protection; therefore, the engine must be running in the “ignition on” position to protect the Pertronix module from overloading. Use the “Acc” position of your ignition switch if you wish to use the radio or headlights while stationary without the engine running. This prevents the ignition module from being activated and avoids overloading.
