Every ignition distributor is extensively tested by us and serviced on our ignition distributor test bench.

You will not only receive a fully tested ignition distributor, but also precise documentation of its function with the included ignition distributor measurement report. Noted here are, for example, the values for centrifugal and vacuum advance. If desired, we can provide the distributor with a performance curve upon request for an additional charge.

RB vs B Engine

Mopar Big Blocks differ in deck height between the “B” and “RB” versions. This also affects the ignition distributor, meaning the ignition distributor for “RB” Big Blocks is minimally longer. The assignment can primarily be made based on displacement.

• RB: 383*, 413, 426, 440 cu in
• B: 350, 351, 383*, 400 cu in

*The 383 cu in was produced in both B and RB variants. Therefore, please note the engine identification. The 383 cu in RB was only available in 1959 and 1960. All other model years are a “B” block.
