NOS Tecumseh #610467 Condenser

Genuine Tecumseh spare part (Tecumseh / Lauson / Power Products / Peerless) from old stock. Tecumseh engines were used in lawn mowers, snow blowers, generators and other equipment, among others. Before ordering, please compare the part number with your original part or the parts list of your engine.

The condenser (capacitor) is wired in parallel with the contact breaker points. It suppresses arcing when the points open, protects the contact surfaces and ensures a strong spark. Typical signs of a faulty condenser are badly burnt points, misfiring and a weak spark.

We recommend replacing the condenser and the points together.

NOS – New Old Stock: unused original parts from old inventory. The parts have never been fitted; packaging may show signs of storage due to age.
