The spark is produced at the moment the points open. Worn or burnt points cause hard starting, misfiring and incorrect ignition timing.<\/p>\n<p>After installation, set the point gap or dwell angle to the manufacturer&#8217;s specification and check the ignition timing. We recommend replacing the condenser at the same time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOS \u2013 New Old Stock:<\/strong> unused original parts from old inventory. The parts have never been fitted; packaging may show signs of storage due to age.<\/p>\n<p>Not sure whether this part fits?
