This auxiliary air valve is an unused original spare part from earlier production. Original Bosch auxiliary air valves are particularly interesting for the professional and authentic restoration of classic cars.

The auxiliary air valve is part of the fuel injection system and regulates the additional air supply to the engine during the warm-up phase. This increases the idle speed when the engine is cold. As the engine warms up, the auxiliary air valve reduces the additional air flow.
