The Edelbrock #1906 AVS2 Series 650 cfm carburetor is the next generation of Edelbrock carburetors. It was designed and tuned to achieve optimal street performance in small- and big-block engines. The AVS2 features primary boosters with an annular flow design and a new calibration that improves performance during idling and cruising. The annular booster design ensures improved fuel atomization and eliminates flat spots that can occur during the carburetor’s transition from idle to wide-open throttle. Each annular booster is equipped with eight evenly spaced orifices to optimize fuel metering from idle to the main circuit. The improved flow metering makes this carburetor ideal for a wide range of small- and big-block engines with single or dual intake manifolds.
